Rapid Application Development
RAD is a software development process developed by James Martin in 1991. It is iterative development and construction of prototypes. It enables a quality products, faster development, and saving the valuable resources.
RAD approach made a significant advance in software development environments to allow a rapid generation and changes of screens and other user interface features
The end user allowed working with a screen online, in a production environment.
RAD life cycle consists of four stages they are
Increased the speed of development.
Reduced the complexity
Usability of GUI design
Reduce the cost
The data needed should already exist
Reduced the scalability
