Project management standards

Project management is the discipline of organizing and managing resources (e.g. people) in a way that the project is completed within defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints

According to the functions project management can be divided in 3 groups,

Certifications regarding Project management:
Introductory Certificate: for anyone looking to understand the principles of project   management.
APMP (IPMA Level D): for people with up to two years’ project management
Practitioner Qualification (IPMA Level C): for anyone with more than three years of project management experience.
Certificated Project Manager (IPMA Level B): for project managers with extensive experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
APM Project Risk Management Certificates: APM offers level one and level two certificates for project and programmer managers involved in project risk assessment in any way.
PMP –Project Management Professional Certification Handbooks.
