Responsibilities for Business Analysis

¬タᄁ Assist in developing project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnose and map client requirements; articulate solution risks and barriers; recommend project approaches; prepare time and cost estimates; plan full project life cycle
¬タᄁ Create screen mockups and prototypes
¬タᄁ Lead and participate in requirements gathering sessions with client business and IT personnel
¬タᄁ Plan, conduct, document, and direct the analysis of complex business problems and processes
¬タᄁ Translate business requirements to functional requirements
¬タᄁ Document results from analysis
¬タᄁ Meet with the business subject matter experts to ensure requirements meet expectations
¬タᄁ Create specifications for systems to meet business requirements
¬タᄁ Create design layouts for the system and define data requirements to support design
¬タᄁ Identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures, which are cost effective and meet user requirements
¬タᄁ Design and develop custom applications utilizing Share Point
¬タᄁ Provide support to the Share Point development team for functional requirement issues
¬タᄁ Assist in the writing of the test plan
¬タᄁ Write test cases & scripts
¬タᄁ Conduct functional testing of the system
¬タᄁ Assist in testing application to ensure that the application meets the functional requirements (traceability)
¬タᄁ Document software defects; conduct defect disposition meetings
¬タᄁ Maintain and enhance existing applications to accommodate changes in the business processes
¬タᄁ Design and implement to legacy systems
¬タᄁ Identify and incorporate performance tuning
¬タᄁ Assist project manager with issue and risk identification
¬タᄁ Change request (enhancement) management
¬タᄁ Enhance overall team accomplishments and competence by answering technical and procedural questions for less-experienced team members; teach improved processes; mentor team members
